All-on-4, or all-on X (5, 6, 7...) is a full-arch implant rehabilitation technique that replace a full row of missing teeth using four or different number of strategically placed implants.
Dental implant placement is usually done under local anaesthesia, so you should not feel sharp pain during the procedure. Mild soreness or swelling may occur afterward and generally improves with prescribed care.
In selected cases, a temporary tooth may be placed the same day. However, the final tooth is usually fitted after the implant heals properly, which can take around three to six months.
Soft foods can usually be eaten the same day once numbness wears off. Normal eating is resumed gradually as healing improves, depending on implant location, swelling, comfort, and your dentist’s instructions.
